Sheryo & Yok are a globally acclaimed artist duo whose work bridges the worlds of street art, sculpture, and design. Originally from Singapore and Australia, their creative partnership has taken them across continents from New York to Berlin, Seoul, and Bali leaving behind murals, ceramics, and installations that celebrate humor, mythology, and human imagination.
Working between contemporary art and craft, Sheryo & Yok have developed a distinctive visual language inspired by their fictional world, Yeahnahnesia a tropical island filled with imagined deities, creatures, and relics. Their practice fuses street sensibility with artisanal technique, transforming everyday materials into storytelling objects that blur the line between contemporary art collaboration and traditional craftsmanship.
The Duck
During their time in Bali, Sheryo & Yok found inspiration in an unexpected encounter a duck with a fluffy “hat” seen on a morning walk during the pandemic. In the midst of global uncertainty, this moment sparked The Duck Collection: a series that celebrates lightness, imagination, and the joy of creation.
In collaboration with Kevala Ceramics, the duo translated their bold artistic vision into a collection of handcrafted designer tableware, vases, teapots, bowls, and sculptural objects, all made in Bali. Each form reflects their signature balance of play and precision, brought to life through Kevala’s mastery in Bali ceramics and commitment to sustainable, small-batch production.
This artist collaboration reflects Kevala’s philosophy of merging global artistry with local craft, where each piece embodies both creative spontaneity and material excellence.
