Raisa Andriana, fondly known as Yaya, is an Indonesian singer with a deep passion for art, home decor and interior design. A long-time admirer of Kevala Ceramics, she initially planned to purchase a ready-made tableware set for her new home. However, this led to an inspiring journey of creating a custom-designed collection.
The creative process began at Kevala’s HQ showroom, where Yaya selected pieces from existing collections, laying them out together on the meeting table to explore possibilities. During the brainstorming session, Kevala asked detailed questions about her dining habits and preferences, ensuring that each piece would perfectly complement her family’s dining rituals.
The final collection emerged as a blend of her favourite elements from Kevala’s offerings, with personalised touches in colour, texture, pattern, and shape that reflected her family. Yaya was particularly impressed to learn that each Kevala piece is handcrafted, making every item unique with its own individual look.
When Yaya finally received the finished products in her home, she shared that the results exceeded her expectations. While the visual renderings were impressive, seeing the actual pieces in her space brought a unique sense of fulfillment—knowing that these ceramics exist only in her home made them truly special.
