Did the Clay & Paint for Kids class with my 10 and 13 year old daughters. Erica was very friendly and welcoming and gave an excellent demonstration of how to use the wheel. We all enjoyed working with the clay!
We then spent an hour painting a pre-made piece which was also good fun. My kids and I all enjoyed it and didn’t want to leave!

The most beautiful (and organized) ceramics studio i have ever seen. The people are super friendly. They have a lot of information about the coral restoration project. The explanation of how to build your coral clay – bed is clear! Their English is good! Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

I am just so happy I chose Kevala Studio, which is nestled in a lovely part of Sanur. From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed by Putri who was a wonderful host and an absolute asset to Kevala. Everything was ready, and Putri made a beautiful coffee for me too! So thoughtful and a welcome surprise! All the little details are considered. Its an inspiring, beautifully organized space that was just so relaxing. I highly recommend the Plate Painting Class. You have a lovely range of vessels you can choose to paint. 2 hours is a perfect length of time too. An added bonus is that I can collect my plate in just a few days. Highly Recommended!

Surya was a fantastic instructor, a skilled teacher and very patient despite our beginner failings. It was really really fun and a great way to spend a couple of hours. A must try for couples and groups in Bali.

Take a pottery class at this lovely ceramic studio. Next door is a store where you can purchase various items. In the class you will learn the first few steps in pottery. You will make a basic bowl and another item. You can get your items fired, but it will take around 12 days for them to be finished. Then, you can choose to either print an item (plate, bowl, cup) or carve one. You will also get these items in a few days. Real fun, great teachers, professional, and helpful.
